Random Synergy is looking for RELIABLE, LOCAL (NYC AREA) and INDEPENDENT Web Developers and Web Designers to assist in the overflow of development/design work here. 

Random Synergy is a small consulting firm that specializes in developing applications (Web based and Win32/OSX) and the associated workflow, which enable a company to make the most of the creative assets they already have as well as streamline the process for creating new ones. Most of our work is focused on helping businesses manage their creative assets such as images, blueprints, photos, PDFs, story content, logos, etc. We modify existing digital asset management systems as well as our internally developed software to match the needs of our clients.

Mind you, we also do get your typical and somewhat random request for websites / ecommerce / joolma+mambo development. So while we focus on the Creative Management, we do a little bit of everything else so it's always bound to be fun and interesting.

Here is what we're looking for from of the Developers/Designers we'd like to hire. If and When you respond to this AD, please specify where your strengths lay and what you feel your weakness are in respect to the list below.

REQUIRED 
- 2yrs+ experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX /JavaScript. 
- 2yrs+ experience with PHP & MySQL. 
- An understanding of XML and XSLT required. 

DESIRED 
- Experience in Web Based Applications development process 
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team and independently are vital. 
- A Modular Development Concept such as Fusebox, Zend Framwork Methodology experience, + understanding . We need to build applications that are built to be improved on without having to throw away previous work. 
- Experience with high volume/high traffic web site. 
- Experience with Joomla/Mambo

- MS Visual Studio (Visual Basic) 
- Apple Script / Xcode
